The Wrangler All-Terrain Adventure with Kevlar® is Goodyear's premium On-/Off-Road All-Terrain tire developed for light truck drivers looking to combine on-road competence with off-road versatility. Offered in Standard Load sizes for half-ton vehicles, Wrangler All-Terrain Adventure with Kevlar tires are also available in Pro-Grade Load Range E sizes for three-quarter and one-ton pickup trucks, vans and SUVs that regularly haul or tow heavy loads.

Wrangler All-Terrain Adventure with Kevlar tires feature a longwearing, specialized rubber tread compound (Pro-Grade tires use an even more chip- and chunk-resistant tread compound that enhances wear in high-torque applications). These compounds are molded into a multi-faceted symmetric tread design that combines rugged looks along with on-road comfort and off-road traction. Open shoulder blocks and traction ridges at the base of the outboard circumferential grooves help clear mud and snow. Most Pro-Grade tires meet the industry's severe snow service requirements and are branded with the three-peak mountain snowflake (3PMSF) symbol. Tires that are not labeled for severe snow are labeled in search results and on the tire Specs page.

The sidewall rubber compound features Goodyear's Durawall Technology to protect the polyester cord body by resisting cuts, punctures, scuffing and abrasion

The tire's internal structure includes twin, high-tensile steel belts reinforced by a spirally wrapped layer of next-generation DuPont Kevlar* cord to combine strength with comfort (Pro-Grade belts feature thicker steel cords reinforced by two layers of spirally wrapped DuPont Kevlar cord).

*DuPont™ and Kevlar® are trademarks or registered trademarks of E.I. du Pont de Nemours and Company.

Note: While non-winter tires featuring the three-peak mountain snowflake (3PMSF) symbol provide additional longitudinal snow traction beyond what all-season (M+S) tires not bearing the symbol can deliver, they do not match the capability of a true winter tire in all adverse weather conditions.

The Dynapro MT2 is Hankook's Off-Road Maximum Traction tire designed for the drivers of pickup trucks, full-size SUVs, Jeeps and other capable all-terrain vehicles that demand off-road traction, but also require reliable on-road performance.

Hankook utilizes an advanced off-road tread compound molded into their symmetric `Terrain Strike` pattern that features aggressive off-road design elements. The Dynapro MT2's high-void pattern with prominent stone ejectors helps improve loose surface traction while ensuring larger rocks are dislodged, preventing external damage and loss of traction. Utilizing Hankook's split mold technology, the Dynapro MT2 features aggressive Wraparound Tread and Sidewall Protection Shields designed to increase traction during off-road maneuvers, while protecting against punctures. This seamlessly linked tread-to-shoulder design also creates a more unified, rigid package, benefiting on-road handling and noise comfort. The interior tread blocks feature a multi-angle design for lateral stability, and sipes that increase biting edges for improved wet and snow traction.

The Dynapro MT2 utilizes a reinforced casing, balancing durability and on-road comfort, combined with high strength steel belts for improved steering performance and impact robustness. A reinforced under-tread and nylon cap ply continue to enhance the Dynapro MT2's off-road performance, along with a jointless bead wire for low pressure, off-road situations.

While Off-Road Maximum Traction tires, which are often called mud tires, are branded with the M+S symbol and able to churn through deep snow, their typical oversize applications and the absence of snow-biting sipes in their large smooth lugs can challenge their on-road wintertime traction on packed snow and icy surfaces.

Tires Scores Compare

How we score

Would You Recommend?

N/A
N/A

Treadwear Performance

N/A
N/A

Treadwear is vital to many things, not just how often the tires need replacement. Hydroplaning and wet weather are both critical factors that wear down your tire quickly. The warranty covers any defects in what you bought but only for a limited period or when there's minimal tread left on them.

Wet Perfomance

7.8
N/A

The wet performance score is a new thing that tire manufacturers are trying to achieve. The hydroplaning resistance, wet traction, and steering response all influence this new grading system.

Hydroplaning Resistance
i

The hydroplaning resistance is measured by the hydroplane depth test and the dynamic aquaplaning test, which measures how much water can be accumulated on the tire's surface before hydroplaning occurs.

7.8
Wet Traction
i

Wet traction estimates the level of grip on wet pavement. Tread design with deep grooves dramatically improves confidence when driving in the rain as they channel the water out much better.

7.8
Steering Response
i

The vehicle's steering response largely depends on the tread depth, tire width, air pressure, and aspect ratio. Wide high-performance tires are equipped with a continuous center rib providing instant steering response.

8.5

Dry Perfomance

8.4
N/A

Tires with good dry performance should be able to perform smoothly and safely, even when cornering aggressively.

Cornering Stability
i

A dynamic cornering test is often used to assess cornering stability under dry conditions.

8.4
Dry Traction
i

Dry traction level depends on many factors, including tread design, profile shape, and compounds.

8.4
Steering Response
i

The vehicle's steering response largely depends on the tread depth, tire width, air pressure, and aspect ratio. Wide high-performance tires are equipped with a continuous center rib providing instant steering response.

8.5

Comfort Perfomance

8.1
N/A

The comfort performance score is designed to measure the balance between ride quality and noise level.

Ride Quality
i

The excellent ride quality means you do not feel the bumps or cracks on the road. Larger tires with thick and deep tread patterns decrease the number of jolts allowing you to glide over bumpy road textures.

8.1
Noise
i

If you would enjoy a quiet chat with the passengers while children are sleeping or listening to music, not the sound of tires, definitely pay attention to the noise score.

8.1

Winter Performance

6.9
N/A

Winter Performance score helps us understand if the tire is the appropriate option for winter conditions that your vehicle will face. Dedicated winter tires provide a firm grip when driving through snow and on ice. Performance winter tires boast a higher speed rating and better handling but deliver modestly lower ice and snow traction.

Light Snow Traction
i

Snow traction is the ability of a tire to push snow out of its path. When driving on packed snow, tires with good snow traction will help you accelerate and maintain control.

7.5
Deep Snow Traction
i

Deep Snow Traction test results compare how the tires deal with the deep snow. To successfully cope with the job, such tires should feature aggressive tread patterns, a tremendous amount of siping, and most elastic compounds.

6.9
Ice Traction
i

Ice traction tires feature ice grip and build friction when using the brakes or steering wheel to get through icy surfaces safely.

Size
i

Tire size may be indicated in two formats:
– metric (P255/45R18 103H)
– high flotation (30x9.5 R15 104 F C)
In the metric system, P - stands for the passenger vehicles (LT - for Light Trucks, ST - Special Trailer) with a width of 255 millimeters, aspect ratio (sidewall height) equal to 45% of the tire height. R means it is radially constructed with a diameter of 18 inches. 103 denotes the tire's load index and H determines the speed rating.
In the high flotation system, the first number (30) is the overall diameter of the tire, the second number (9.5) is the width in inches.

Max. load
i

The maximum weight that a tire can carry is the greatest amount of weight it's designed to bear. Because load carrying capability is dependent on a tire's size and construction, as well as how much air pressure is actually utilized, maximum loads are measured with the tire inflated to an industry standard inflation pressure.
